Contemporary Music:

A work or series of works that demonstrates any number of "contemporary" trends in music-making, most especially those trends that are often ill represented at traditional tuba/euphonium conferences: music with electronics, non-jazz improvisatory music, and music that generally questions the Western Art Music status quo.
